Was it like a small air pump inside it that did the smooshing of the plates?I didn’t really dig the automatic press I had….it was loud as fuck. The neighbor asked if I was running a machine shop inside my house

No, it was mechanically driven gears. It had this super loud machine sound. lol like a press in a machine shop when you turn it on..

If the ram moved faster it is probably an air over hydraulic system
