When were were looking at moving to Spain, we looked at several properties like that. A couple in Galicia, one in Cantrbria, and a couple in Cataluna. The article WAY understated it as "a little paperwork"!!! Although we would have qualified for a "golden visa" then, the bureaucracy and the taxes are just insane and have gotten worse!
The one in Cataluna would have been perfect for a stoner retreat!!!
