I did not think I would stir up such a vipers nest when I put Faggots on the menu. But, hey ho, it is what it is.
The grey peas and bacon bits is a very old black country dish pronounced....

in black country slang.

It may look like dung, but tastes like heaven. If you ever had a pea shooter, then the peas that you shot were grey peas!!
In the US you have black eyed peas, we have cheapo grey peas.
