Hello Tina.I see Ebay is selling the old style 300 watt lite very cheap but they say that they have 5watt chips and the size of the units is smaller than the one I have.Are these true Mars lights and are they really 5watt chips or just over driven 3watt chips?

The new upgrated 300w is with 5w chips, but only 60pcs of leds, not 120pcs like before, therefore the light is smaller.

Hi Roark, the 200x3w or 120x5w?
The 200x3w has a coverage of 4'x3' at hight of 24'' while the 120x5w has a smaller coverage.
Others like spectrum are the same, two red, two blue, and white, no IR.

I have no idea. Please explain.
I have 2 600 watt mars hydro lights. Says 2.56 amps each. Did not see where Iit says 3w or 5w. I'll look again.
