Mars Hydro are awesome lights for a new grower to use . I did , 4 years ago . The market they target is so some bloke with not a lot of money or skill can have ago and have some weed to smoke ,

My tip for soil growing is to make a pocket full of Coco coir and vermiculite and plant the seed in that. No nutes and sterile for those first few days of growth.

Growing huge plants with my eco98. This light grows monster plants and if this is there most affordable light imagine what there high end lights will do. That is my piece of advice. And do not over water at a young age.
