Indoor Mephisto (and others) Grow

I run oceans forest or happy frog for the bottom 2/3 of my pots then a layer of worm castings and growilla dry amendments marbled in not mixed thoroughly then I top my pots of with a mix of 70 percent coco and 30 percent soil and top feed every 2 weeks. What is the big deal with giving filtered water to plants in CocoLoco? I’ve been doing it for months. I grow is supersoil and my base media is CocoLoco. All of my water gets filtered in zero water filter and is 0ppm.

Our tap water TDS is off the charts.
Very high.
