Personally, I can't stand consoles.
As far as gaming goes, I tend to go for REALLY immersive MMO games. 8+ years in World of Warcraft (from release) and 4+ years in Eve Online.
Interspersed with some FPS (Counterstrike, Battlefield etc) for some light playing.

Same, I don't like controllers at all. I hate them. I like a keyboard, I cn set up movement keys however the hell I want and it costs less to just have a baddass computer in the long run because it's multi-useful. A console is for one thing. Playing games/videos.
