Easy to convert ppm (if it’s .5 scale) to EC, multiply by 2 and divide by 1000. 500ppm = 1.0 EC, 600ppm = 1.2 EC, 700ppm = 1.4 EC....etc etc....

Why model pen do you have? On my meter you can switch between .5 scale, .7scale, and EC, I’ll take a look at the brand when I’m home.

I found some grow Info on growing autoflowers in coco that contradicts some of the bro-science advise I've been given. I've been letting my coco dry before watering. So I'm finding out this is wrong and that I need to be feeding minimal once per day and to keep the coco wet.

when soil and coco growers talk they should make it clear what they grow in.lower ph,calmag with every watering.never plain water etc.its easy for peeps to give atandard advice,without realizing they a soil grower adviving a coco grower or vice versa.to some peeps brown stuff in a pot is soil/dirt...thats not allways the case.

I think it was one of those things where the newbie tries to give advice he misread to another newbie.

Feeding everyday now with about 10% runoff. Myight try and increase it over time but dont want to shock them.
