I'm more of a spectator than commenter, but Im a faithful watcher and really enjoy small grows.
BTW, What I have noticed is that the more active threads are usually the ones about trendy brands/genetics.

I’ll be honest homies… I figured there’d be a lot more to chat about in the comments. I guess if anything I just have this as personal reference to future grows, but I really wouldn’t mind yalls opinions on things. Lol. Either way, thanks to those that are liking my posts. I just smoked a fat blunt of some 20% kosher kush and was thinking about my journal. Like I mentioned, I guess I had just hoped it would be more “interactive”. Y’all enjoy your day. Pretty sure if I notice a difference, I’ll post it tomorrow. Here’s a nug of that kosher I’m smoking on.

I absolutely love what you have done here I've grown loads of solo cups so I'm used to dealing with small amounts of media also regarding getting more chat in your thread it takes time to build it up but your best bet is visit other people's threads and they in turn normally do the same also you've had a lot of views so people are really interested in your journey. Anyhow if you need anything hit me up site wise .tom

I haven't been commenting but I've definitely been following along closely! I don't do it but I find microgrows really intriguing and a cool challenge. Very interested to see how it turns out

Ya know, I thought that Growing out new genetics by bigger breeders would help, but I reckon due to the fact that they are such new genetics, maybe there is a lack of interest? I’ve searched for journals growing out the same strains as me and they are far and few between.

man… solo cups in pc cases used to be my go to back when the dragon meds were first released. I guess overall, I notice a big dif in how this site used to be 10 years ago and what it is now. I guess overall, threads in all the cannabis forums are a lil more dead than they used to be. With the invention of IG and all the other options people have to post their grows, forums ain’t what they used to be. Thanks for following and I’ll do my best to not disappoint those that are following.

I don't completely agree with you on that as I'm from a prohibiting country and I like the fact that I have my privacy on AFN, so I don't post anywhere else.
But you do have a point that there is lot's more activity on other social media platforms from people living in countries that have legalized.

I reckon I can def agree with you on that. Forums offer a bit of anonymity that social media lacks. There will always be a place for forums. It’s one of the best learning utilities available to any hobby/passions. I feel like around 10 years ago, forums were all the rage. Between motorcycle forums and cannabis forums, I felt like I always had a conversation going somewhere. Now adays, the Facebook pages and IG accounts that represent the forums are more active than the actual forums.
As it legalizes around the world, more people will have less of a reason to keep their hobby in the shadows of their life.

Here’s an interesting update on this grow journey that started over ten years ago. It involves a certain fem querkle and a certain durrty dude (original male durrty dragon).

durrty dragon and querkle seemed like a match made in heaven the first time I smoked both. Mossy had the genetics nailed down on the auto side and subcool had the perfect purple strain in my opinion.

Thats when the idea of kwurrkie dragons being born. Essentially I wanted to stabilize it as an auto strain.

Fast forward a few months and I had a male durrty dragon and a flowering querkle clone flowering. I knew then that it was fate and meant to be.

So I did the most rational thing and knocked the ol girl up.

seeds were healthy after being produced. I personally never got a chance to grow them out, but sent a lot of testers out. And apparently… they never got a chance to grow em either, so, I’m hoping that when they are sent back they are still viable. It would be a dream come true to go ahead and finish this strain. I realize these are just F1’s, but I have all the time on the world to stabilize this one. Hell.. I got over ten years into the project so far. Lol.

Original querkle by subcool isn’t even available in seed form anymore, due to his passing, and to have offspring from an original durrty dragon is cool as hell. I will keep y’all updated onhow this one pans out, but I am def stoked to be able to do it again. @Mossy, do u remember the details Of the green pheno durrty dragons from 2011?

Performed a bit of defoliation earlier. Not really sure what is up with the clones. They all have a little bit of new growth on em, but all the growth that was on em when I got em is completely crispy. Hopefully they pull through, if not, I’ll just stick to the strains I have in seed form and pull my own clones. All in all, the grow is looking good. Or… at least what I started from seed
