Try to keep your humidity down if you can. :thumbs:

I realise during the end of flowering phase ,high humidity can cause the onset of mold's but, below 40% would be better? I am certainly watering the girls well at the moment with flowering nutes in an effort to make up for earlier mistakes in the grow, I normally water/feed just after the light has come on to maximise transpiration during the 20 hours the light is on. Or am I making another noobie error?

Day 67

Just a quick update (been a bit hectic the last few days, so not much time to chill and post on AFN!), anyway not really much to report. Buds are filling out quiet nicely on the Speed Devils and the KushRyders are really putting on some bulk now. Some of the fan leaves on one SD's are starting to yellow now, so hopefully, they are starting the end game too?

Thought I'd see if I could get a trichome pic through the 60x microscope, not brilliant? Still a lot of clear trics on all the plants, so a while yet, me thinks.

I'm so pleased that I came to the decision to grow auto's and found a wealth of experience and helpful people here at AFN, even if at the moment I'm learning that marketing by seed companies can be misleading! Re: WOS. KinHell, the pic porn is great! :key:

Day 71

Well, I think it's time to make a choice? I have cloudy trichs on all my girls 50-100% (still can't see anything amber, at the moment!) but, which do I let go on?

AfghanKushRyder No.1 100% cloudy trichs and the smallest of the bunch but, the cola is to die for?.

AfghanKushRyder No.2 50-80% cloudy, lots of bud sites, each getting more solid every day!

My initial thoughts are to start cleansing No.1 now and maybe over the next week or so during cleansing she will develop amber trichs (a few?) on the way. No.2 carry on feeding for at least another week (that will take her into the 90's, finishing time!) coz I want some of this medicating material Afghan Kush will allegedly provide!

Speed Devil#2's (There are better varieties to grow from Sweet Seeds? Yeah? Just look at 'Noods' Cream Caramel Porn Photo in AFN's March BOM comp!) Anyway, in my grow at this present time:

SPD#2 No.1 60-90% cloudy trichs.

Hey man, wish I could've seen this earlier! its really awesome to watch a plant grow from beginning to end. I just started my first grow and have been reading tons of journals to try and learn as much as possible. your plants look nice!

All I can say, this place rocks! So much good advice, even for those who doubt they can grow a weed (which has grown naturally for thousands of years!) for their own consumption........................................ oh fuck, I sound like a farmer now!

Mikey, the longer you let them go the more of a "couch-lock" high you'll get. Amber trichs are mature making for a greater thc percentage. Cloudy is half way and clear is fresh grown. So cloudy would be a somewhat halfway point. It's all up to your personal preference. I usually try to let mine go as long as possible.
