I just noticed this today on my Blueberry/Mazar. I was hoping to go another week before the chop. Is this salvageable? Perhaps, I should remove this cola. Ideas?

So, I removed the infected cola. Peroxide wash and cut out the rot. Here’s my dilemma; I’m gone for a week and was planning to chop when I return (13 weeks). Since the rot showed up ,literally overnight, I fear the plant may not make it another week. The trichomes are mostly cloudy with a few ambers starting to show. Chop or wait?

Methinks choppity chop chop. It sounds as though your bud may be a bit early, but useful. If you leave it another week, you could lose more if not all of it. There is likely a more mold there than you can see easily. I always find more when I start taking the buds apart, sometime a lot more.

The best plan for drying if you are dealing with mold, IMO, is to break into individual buds and dry the ones that seem clean in paper bags. If possible, you really want to avoid putting moldy bud into your drying space.

Good luck with it. :goodluck: :pighug:
