It's officially day one! They all broke ground today!

I'll keep em in the dome for as long as I can, then they'll go to their permanent homes.

So the little buggers are doing well, two of them have roots coming out of the rooters. I was hoping for another week in the dome, but I'll be lucky with another few days until the roots are too big for the little cups!

Here's their homes! Nows the boring part lol, I'll post once pics once a week till things happen.

They are all sitting under a 100w equivalent 5000k CFL. One of the reflectors got a little close and one of the babies got slightly toaster, but it should be ok. I'll keep em under the CFLs for probably the first week or two. Anybody with more experience care to chime in when the babies can take a full blast with the hps?

Do you have em pretty far away from the light to start? I've read that the full hps light is too much for seedlings.

I go by feel of hand plus I'm using air cooled hood and a dimmable ballast

Nothing interesting to report yet, they had a little bit of shock going to the new containers, but I woke up this morning to them looking happy and showing new growth. More boring to come, but hopefully soon I'll have some decent growth to show.
