I have read that you want 40 lpm of air!!!! I am trying confirm if that insane amount is really what you want. I will be returning my active air 40 lpm pump that I just got for the bigger one that has around 100 lpm if this is true.

wow that sounds way high, are you sure they dont mean 40lph

I found this on the autopot website:

4lpm is enough to power 4 airdomes
10lpm is enough to power 8 airdomes
20lpm is enough to power 20 airdomes
30lpm is enough to power 30 airdomes

I am pretty sure the numbers are right. This is a quote from @slowandeasy on what he used for a grow. But in gph.
"My pump is 792gph and I have 6 plants. "

BTW, I know what autopots recommends like you pasted above. But I think these guys have proven that its better to have a lot more air than what autopots is saying.

792 gallons per hour = 2998 liters per hour= 49 liters per minute

BUT....if he is splitting up that one pump between his 6 plants, does that mean each plant is getting 8 liters a minute, or is each plant get 49 liters or air per minute? I dont know how air pumps work/divide/etc.

OCD is good. I love being OCD. I'm OCD about being OCD.

I can't quite figure out what these guys are saying when I ask them what exactly the lpm is for a plant done they way they say is so good. I am asking for clarification and will post back if I get something. I did order a pump that is 1700 gph just to be sure. If it's too much, I'll just run the excess air in to the air

I have used 6Lpm per pot with a very good growth. Im doing straight coco in autopots with airdomes. Im not a pro, but i could give a hand if needed.

About the root control-disc i have put gold side face down in every pot, with an extra rootdisc gold face up in the tray.
