Hey, MrGoat, just searching for results on Blackberry Kush and found your thread. I finished a single-plant grow of this strain the end of December and curious on others' results. A description of my grow results are here:

Looking at your pic's, you got the same open-calyx results I saw, with see-through wispy buds as well. ​

Question on yield if you don't mind, how many plants were BBK and what was the weight on those Blackberry only? I'm looking for a per-plant average to compare my results to. And how's the aroma and taste after cure? My smoke quality was great but cured taste was nasty and yield was one of the lowest of any auto I've ever grown.
Hoping you got good news for me, I fell in love with how this girl looked when she grew....

And BTW, the purple color stays all the way through cure, it doesn't turn black at all!!!

I love the smell of this strain, but my grow was on the small side too. I was told this was in part due to the hindu gentics in this strain.

Hey Olde School, ur right about the wispy bud, i grew 3 Dutch Passion BBKs, 2 were the purple phenos, of which 1 was a giant, probably 42". The other 2 Abbks finished at about 23". Back to the giant, the wispy bud and open calyx would be that plant. It just never filled in to its frame. The linbs were spaced too far on the man stalk. Just kind of a gangly kid that never fillsbout. I don't have a weight on individual ABBKs, sorry.
At that time I did not have a good scale. The other 2 BBKs produced some nice buds.
My biggest producers were 2 Cash Crops
The purp ABBKs smell and taste like grapes. The whitish ABBK smells and taste totally different. It is the strongest of the three, but I have not figured out the taste yet. They are still curing, about halfway.
I will have to read back thru your post tomorrow , its 4 am and I am pretty fried at the moment. ( a buddy gave me some very good Sour Jack and chemdawg), so i am sure I missec something. A couple AFNers recently grew the Dutch Passion ABBKs
Need4Weed and Nosias. Nosias had an excellent grow with 4.76 Oz from 1 plant. Well I am officially Brain dead and cashed out, time to go crash.

Mine was 3.7oz, one plant, so Nosias beat me by an oz., good for him. I'll try to remember to look him up & compare notes.
Generally I'm pissed with anything under 6oz., satisfied at 6 and dancing at 8 and above.
@Need4Weed thought it was the hindu kush influence; I'd be more inclined to think the "unknown ruderalis" was the culprit, & mos'def' the cause of the wispy buds. My blueberry photoperiods were always low producers as well but always had solid buds. Oh well, I'll keep lookin' for a good blueberry auto alternative, hoped this was it

Wow, 23" to 42" for the BBK, that's a good stretch. I'm chasing my ass on when plants stretch & when they don't based upon light type, could you enlighten me on what type of lighting you used, and what light height you maintained during veg and bloom?
And one suggestion for you. I was admiring the rows of jars with your finished buds curing, and I saw plenty of empty space in most of the jars. You will get a much better cure if you fill each jar completely. DON'T PACK IT, you don't want to damage the buds, even handle them any more than you have to. But if you can fill the jar, thus removing more of the air, the cure will progress faster and the aroma intensity should be better. And at some point, loose buds tend to dry TOO MUCH, and flavor / aroma suffers. Keeping a bit of stem helps this, as well as the full jar.
Just don't forget to go back every few days, crack each jar lid, and check how the cure progresses. With more dense buds, several days' cure can bring out more moisture from deep inside the buds, and that needs to be allowed to dissipate. Depending upon how much moisture builds up (if any), you might just leave the jar lid off awhile. With more moisture, you might need to spread the buds out in the open for a little while (no more than an hour, sometimes way less).
