Is that purple hue surrounding the interveinal area residual light from the LEDs or are they starting to purple up? A recent cold streak has my ladies turning a slight purple, which was unexpected from a critical jack x white widow cross I made, which is why I ask.


The ladies look good. Love it when the frost creeps all the way up to the leaf tips at such a young age. Things will start escalating rapidly now. Gotta love the daily bud swell on the autos!

So as promised here are the pictures.

BDM are really doing well. They are just 44 days old... This is the first feeding of flowering nutrients and the resinator product.

CC is surpassing my wildest expectations of what she would grow into! Here is a side bud.

CC main cola, may not be much as compared to some, but for me, oh boy!!

@SkatterBrayne, hey thanks man! It is truly an amazing thing to watch. Ya the purple tint should be due to the LED. Using a new flash and dialing it all in is leaving some weird tinting. I have been having some success using full power, manual camera settings, and bouncing... Hope that is what you meant.

Dayummm my friend you are making us other rookies look bad. Those girls are looking like you got a fine harem. I think I need to pay some more attention to that RH. Got to slap some rep on ya. You are doing a great job. Keep it up, I agree this being only my 3rd journey, the growing is as much fun as the puffing. I don't have enough cajones to grow more than one at a time. I want to try some stoned dragon next. Well keep it up my friend.

RH low, let the humidifier run out of water. No harm as I am thinking it is time to shut it off, too many flowers in the tent now. Things look good. They loved the feeding, buds are even fatter if you can believe it. I am starting to think they may even look like some of the harvests I have seen here, a bit more modest I am sure though.
I have an interesting observation. I have been thinking about it for a week or so now. It is in regards to the lighting. In my tent I have a 240 watt Blackstar type LED one one side and a bar with eight 23w CFL on it. You can see that set up here I have two Biodiesel Mass growing one under LED on under CFL, although they both get light from each I am sure. My observation is that the plants under the LED exhibit burnt tips and the ones under the CFL do not. Hmmmm. The LED is about 16 inches away and the CFL 3-4 inches. Other than that they both look great and very similar. I was going to rotate them but decided not to so I can see if there are any differences in the buds themselves.

Here is BDM under CFL. The leaf in the back is from another plant, CC that is under CFL.

Her is BDM under LED, you can just see the brown tips. Otherwise I think they look pretty close to each other.

And here is CC and her main flower, I think it looks a bit bigger and fatter than yesterday, prolly my wishful thinking again!!

Looks awesome man, I almost don't like l.e.d's I just keep seeing people with issues lol. Great looking tricomes, I hope mine looks that good in 10 more days.

Hey Panic, thanks man. I am sure you are on your way to big ol buds for sure your girls look great! I hear you about the LED. I was going to go with CFL originally, but won this one on eBay as the only bidder, I bid only a dollar over the original amount, so it was $170.00 with DHL shipping from China. I think it did cause some problems in the beginning and may be why I was thinking I had nutrient issues then too. Overall though I am happy with it and glad I bought it. I will learn to work with it that's for sure!

Hey WileyWilly thanks! Ya Stoned Dragons are definitely on my must grow list. I have a few of those, to grow strains that is! I wish I had them in hand!!

About gave myself a panic attack today, went to do my usual evening check and take a few pictures, looked at the temp and it read 115 F Yow!!! Then I calmed down a bit and noticed the sensor was tangled in a CFL bulb, whew. I must have caught it when I put it up to water this morning.
Everything looks great, CC's buds are putting on weight, going to have to invest in a scope sooner than I thought so I can check those trichomes. She's getting nice golden hairs as the pistils dry out. BDM continue going great, starting to see some calyx through the pistils and the flowers are growing together up the main stem.
Watered the three flowering plants today they were getting light. Looks like every other day now for watering, have to resist the urge to feed, I want them to grow bigger and faster. Mustn't get greedy now!! Each girl received 1.3 liter aftw with 4.9ml / gal. CaMg+ pH'd to 6.1. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the addition of CaMg+ brought the pH right to 6.1 so no additional adjustment was needed.

Here's BDM's main stem and top flowers.

CC's main flower is putting on weight by the day and getting nice golden hairs too.

OK so it's bad news bears in Bubba Kush land! It's a boy, I am pretty darn sure. I'll give it another week to make sure, but ya it really looks like nads and not hairs in pre flower land. My first boy!! I double checked the order and they were freebies but regular seeds so definitely within the realm. Other than that though things are good. CC may be a little clawed looking, or maybe I'm looking for trouble. Just plain pH'd water tomorrow (if needed) is on the menu. I'll water them fairly thoroughly to make sure I flush a tiny bit.
I'll see if I can get a picture of the male pre-flower tomorrow. Argghhh....

Woohoo We're back!
Haven't kept enough notes so don't have to much to add. Watered yesterday with pH'd aftw pH 6.1. 1.3 liters per plant. Shut of the humidifier so average RH is down about 18-20 points. Don't want moldy!! Going to feed tomorrow.
Pretty sure BK is a male, so he's going to come down this weekend. I am disappointed, but what the hey, I'll get over it.
They are really getting stinky and sticky. Buds are getting bigger, need to get that scope to check out the trichomes. Also got the photography bug again, yow, love taking pictures of the girls.
