My plants look terrible and are getting worse

During flower, roots in soil won't take up much nitrogen. Since we cannot Foliar and there is already an existing deficiency, it's normal to see leaves fade earlier.
Like I said, pay attention to younger leaves and leaves on bud. Those should still look green if you have rectified the problem. However, with a runoff of 5.6, it may very well be the PH affecting uptake of Mg, causing all this problems.
I face some of these issues on large plants. Once it starts, it spirals. Fix it and you'll still get some good meds. But the plant won't look good though. Nothing to worry about.

This looks like classic nutrient lockout. Most likely due to over feeding. OF should have enough nutrients available for the first month or so right out of the bag. I would need more info in how you got and tested the runoff. I have never seen the same number go in, and come out, when using soil. I would also need more info on your feeding schedule. When did you start using the MC? Are you feeding every time you water? Adding recharge to soil is just like feeding it. The microbes break down the organic matter in the soil and make nutrients available to the plant. Im pretty sure the instructions say to reduce your feed if using any with recharge. So you are feeding the plant from two different sources.. The mega crop, and the soil. I see plenty of plants grown with MC and soil/coco that are fine until flower, the the train derails. When you check the run off, use RO water with zero ppms. And run about a half gallon to a gallon through the pot. Test the ppms from the last few pours.. After the entire pot is well saturated. There isn't much you can do to correct it at this point. I don't mean to sound like a party pooper, and I hate being the bearer of bad news, but based on those pics, I can't see the plant making it to harvest. But what you can do is try to pinpoint the cause and use this as a good learning experience. If you are a new grower, I would advise making a post at the very first sign of any leaf changes or issues. The earlier the better. The plants are feeding off of the nutrients in the leaves (cannibalizing) because of the nutrient lockout. In a few days/weeks, there won't be any green leaves left for it to feed on. So the lock out must be found and fixed for any hope.

Do you know why though? I've seen that too and experienced it myself when I was using MC. Is it just overfeeding? Your posts are always so informational and insightful. Would love to hear your views.
I won't highjack this post, but will say that I don't think MC is made for canna. It hasn't seemed to work well since the first version. Not sure what version it's on now.. I see it way too much in the infirmary. I also think new growers often confuse feeding and watering. I think most people are feeding every time they water, which creates the nutrient build up in the soil, that causes the lock out.
I don’t think I have plain watered but maybe a handful of times. So that probably has something to do with it. I didn’t start the MC until ab the fifth week. I’ve only fed the MC three times maybe 4. I started MC at 5 weeks on the blue dream. But the problem started when i started with MC. I’m not saying it’s the MC fault. I didn’t use ro water for the run off. I just watered with ab half a gallon and poured what came out in the saucer into a cup and measured it.

I really think that the ph is off so much that it has locked it out. That is what my gut is saying. It all just happened so fast. I didn’t get to look at them this morning before I left but I’m sure they are worse. Thank you for taking the time to help me out!
If you're growing in soil, it is really hard to get a ph level that is out of range. Soils are ph buffered so that they stay in a range of about 7. Not only that, the ph is naturally kept in range through the rhizosphere as well. You would have had to been watering and feeding with a ph way out of range, for a long time, to get the soil ph out of range. Ppms is how you check for lockout. Im curious how you get a ppm of 540. What is the starting ppm of your plain water? Right now, testing the ppms of the run off is more important than the soil ph, which Im sure is fine.
