Just thought I'd share with everyone what I did last night as it seemed successful only time will tell. I have a plant that is a 8-9weeks flowerer. My reversed plant though balls looked ready to drop (just some) most of the others were still pretty much all closed but looked almost there...
My recipient plant has allready been in flower for two and half weeks and I was going to miss the mark of being able to pollenate. I needed that reversed pollen ASAP. Than while puffing the Extreme Q I thought hey it doesn't completely scorch the weed wonder of a quick min or two of some closed pollen sacks in there would do.
I put some in the EQ ran the fan for maybe a min, than let sit for maybe another 3/5mins, they were dry... Upon crumbling I had tons of pollen available.... Though I have no idea if the heat ruined the pollen I got or what but, I was able to sure get a bunch from a few sacs once they were dried. So anyone that finds them self in the same pinch just some food for thought.
Anyone know if a quick dry like that will sterile the pollen? Hope not as this seemed like a good way to contain the pollen without making a mess.
