Nelsons Balcony

Just saw this pop up and realized it got tucked away. Seems like a great time to bring it back all things considered :bighug:
Can we have it stickied somewhere simple to find please mate?

I'll keep it at the top of Live Stoner Chat (it is its own forum, so it will always be on the top of the list.) :d5:

I don't think Mike ever knew Nelson. At least he never mentioned this thread:shrug:
My husband lived a good honest life. He (and we) had some tough times, but we also had amazing times.
I think all this started when he began coughing up blood and had bad nosebleeds. He didn't like doctors, but finally went.
He was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. It later spread to his brain and to his lymph nodes.
He was on a very radical treatment of baking soda and low sugar, but for a while we panicked and allowed chemo and radiation.
Maybe that was my fault, I don't know. Michael lost his parents to cancer, and hated the treatment options.
He finally refused the treatments and chose a high alkaline diet, and it worked.
By that time it was tto late, the chemo had hit him hard. His kidnys failed, and he lost his sight.
I miss my Michael. I'm sure he's up there telling Nelson how to kill fungus gnats.
Well lived, my Love.
