I can't wait to get my hands on some of those seeds your making man... This Phaze#47 is a very balanced hybrid with a SSH resemblance to her...
Big ole buds buddy:thumbs:
Hey guys and gals, just trying to get my shit together after getting back from Hawaii with a few problems in the garden while I was away...
There was some hermie action brewing from both the Thai-47 and the PHaze-47 (1 PHaze and 1 Thai) the other Tai-47s look like they might throw a couple nanners but I'm not sure yet, I'm worried that there was some sort of bad genes in the original cross that could have been recessive in the first (breeding) generation...
I know there are no light leaks in the tent and there hasn't been much stress, until my buddy didn't give them enough water at all, and they dried out pretty good, I'm guessing if it was stress related it would've been that...
Anyway the affected PHaze-47 was one of my favorites and is throwing fox tails nicely with a chunky structure, I'm gonna have to kill it though (gonna be like a knife in my heart) as it seems the most recent bananas might have viable (femmed and hermied) pollen in/on them.... Heres some pics,it's covered in nanners on every bud but until now they seemed impotent, luckily the other plants look like they are untouched by pollen for the most part; and the parts that do have seeds are from my pollination smack... (all pics are the one PHaze):
I know I have been out of the loop for a while, but I will get a good update going very soon I promise!
Lets see how it goes, With a friend taking care of them for a long period of time that leaves reason for doubt... I've yet to have any hermi's but they could for sure be there...
I guarantee that the Thai Haze won't put out nanners cause they just grow very differently from which we are use too...
The growth is very different and is most likely just bud starting, I don't know about the Phaze... If its genetics we will know when you post pictures of the others...
Peace brother, One thing though... Just remember that I've grown 10-15 Thai Haze girls now and haven't had hermi's but have noted very different growth patterns that confuse but that is just the very high Sativa presence...
If there is any from the THai Haze then it is just an odd ball and isn't in the majority...
It kills me that that girl is a hermi though, she's so chunky man... Atleast you will have some chunky early bud though:thumbs:
Yeah I'm hoping it's just the dry spell that threw a few plants for a loop, but I'll keep the most I can after snipping off all male parts and making sure they are watered and happy! The really hermied one will get the chop after a dark spell, and will serve as a sample of what is to come; the smell is pretty good and there are a few brown hairs (clear trichs all over) so it's early but still smokable....
I just tried my camera and it said there is a card fault so its only gonna be a phone pic update again when I get to it....
