I could go either way in coco. But Miss U is starting in organic soil, so no nutes needed. I feel not using nutes makes the plant push roots deeper and more quickly, in search of food. One way may be as good as the other.

that's what I'm trying to do get the same start growth I see in soil grown plants they look further developed because soil grown plants already have access to nutrients were as coco is a food free zone till you add it

Have also been advised to start with 1ml ler litre of each canna a and b and been told 1ml of take root aswell but will half it see how it goes as its autoflowering i was thinking giving it the nutes early as 14 days is along time considering these autos take 65 days

In the future FYI you can save a lot of time germinating using just the wet paper towel method. Soaking in water for 12/24 first really serves no purpose other than trying to drown the seed. Take a simple tupperware container and fold a paper towel into fourths. Wet out the paper towel just to the point of having standing water in the container. Place your seed in the middle of the folds. Place the container(with the top on) on a warm device i.e. cable box, DVD player etc. Someplace the will get it warm. You will have a tap root in 18-24 hours. YOU NEED WARMTH. Also there is ZERO reason to wait till you have a half inch long or longer root before you plant. This is just asking to be broken with planting. All you need is an 1/8th of an inch root. The only reason we germinate outside of the grow media is to verify that the seed is viable and so save a little germ time. I have grown several Mephisto Genetics plants over my last few grows and nearly all of them germed using my method and were in the soil in 18 hours from hitting the paper towel, and above ground 2 days later. Ever time I read about growers soaking seeds in a cup of cold water, some time for days I just shake my head.

I have played with several of Mephisto's Deep Blue C's and I finished a Sour Crack test plant in a small 1.5 gallon soil grow a couple of weeks ago. I also am just finishing up my first DWC grow with another Sour Crack. She is in a 3.5 gallon bubble bucket. I started taking her down yesterday and trimmed out 690 grams. I left some inner/lower buds for a couple of more days and figure there is another 150 grams to take down still. After dried and jar should be right about 6 oz! She was 18" tall and 30" wide! I have not grown any of the Chem City Blues or Chemdogging because I am limited in vertical height in my cabinet.

I would love to grt that how small is your vertical space i have 1.4 after filter and reflector in a 1.8 m high tent

Did u train them in some sort of way do the mephisito's like to be trained??

Sounds good the sour bubblin crack is a X between sour crack and hunba bubba smellscope so its daddy is in my genes

Btw just come home from work and noticed i have some taps showing will leave another 8 hours at least see how long they get as one is not as developed as the other 2 please see link



I am amazed how quick the germ process has been 24 hours in paper towel and 11-13 hours in water and they are here !!!!!!

Fyi the other seed is not in sight with seed just cracked and tap has not come out of shell but is showing other 2 are out and looking to see whats up

Can anyone tell me if ill be ok with seeds in a dual spec bulb as the dual spec suggest its ok for both phases i am probably overthinking but as you would do hahah
Also what humidty should i have would putting seran wrap/cling film/sandwich bags be ok once planted to keep himidty high

Both of those should go in to grow media NOW. They have germinated and shown they are viable seeds......plant them. Just plant them....over thinking it being worried about humidity. I have never covered seeds/sprouts and never had problems. Your dual spec will be fine start to finish....granted a pair of them would be better I think.

I think they are about 1cm in length i cannot plant now as my water has not stood enough tome yet and havent sorted my mix im sure if i wait another 6 hours my water will have stood 12 hours or is tap water ok for first water with nutes also do i throw the light on straight into 18/6 aswell how far away should light be in this stage

Waited the extra hours and tails wer longer than first seen

Planted directly into the coco witth seed showing tap root in ground

Waterd 5l of water between the 3x 11L
Run off was about 20% left light on for 20/4

Will see how it goes tommorrow after first cycle

Have been monitoring my temp and humidty with light on at evening and nightime my low with light on is 24 and high is 26.5 my humdity max has been 49% and low is 43%

Will be monitoring levels in dark phase when lights switch off

Is this humidty ok or am i best using higher humidty for seedlings
