Rubber bands are to cut the air off to the bottom of the bag so the shrooms don't grow down there
Got some pins starting today on the stargazer

Not sure if it takes that long normally to start to pin or if it was from opening the bag up more... But happy to see. Hopefully the APEs start pretty soon
If these actually produce anything I'll be starting some Golden Teachers and Tidal Waves shortly. I've still got 2 unused bags that have been sitting in a box and still look like the day I got them 
Oh yeah! I may be a teetotaller for THC but cosmic trips? I have taken a few flights over the years. Looking really good for such an easy method.
7 weeks from inoculation. Big changes every day now with the stargazer. Still nothing from the ape yet
Here's the plan for drying. Tub with a pan with slots cut in it and a piece of screen, with reusable silica beads underneath. The beads get thrown in the oven when they turn pink and can be reused indefinitely. I bought this as a kit, but now that I have it, it could totally be made from dollar store stuff and beads from amazon but still pretty cheap as far as things go. Supposed to air dry on a cooking rack for a day and then into this thing for 2-3 days. Here's the setup...
