I haven't done any defol at all and thinking now would be a good time or should I leave it for another while yet.
I've also have not got around to starting a dark period yet and usually go 24h light, well last grow I added 1 at day 50ish.

Want to get one going this grow and want to get it right so any advise is really appreciated

to go do it now.​

I wouldn't bother mate . Keep them just as with some defol as they grow.
