One or two week flush?

Hi peeps, hope all are well. When growing in a soil medium what’s the recommended flush time? I just harvested a purple lemonade 4 weeks ago with a 7 day flush and she turned out great. I have a wedding cake auto just over 8 weeks old and now I wanted to start the flush. . . . The reason I ask is because there is some much dispute on the net when it comes to flushing so I’m trying to gain a clearer answer. . .

I stay away from the hype of both flush/no flush....Just never saw a difference...sure you can make weed taste like shit if you work at it....
I've starved plants, drowned plants and all points in between and nothing changes significantly except the trouble you went through worrying about it.
I never feed till runoff and I never flush except in veg if I've pushed too much....too much shit to do when you run perpetually for over 15 years...ya kinda simplify everything.
