When do you like to have your lights on and off?

I’m doing my first all tent grow and following an 18/6 schedule.

I turn the lights on at 6pm and off at noon. I’ve noticed that the humidity spikes for a while during lights off.

That got me wondering if there are pros and cons to choosing the time of day for the light schedule? Maybe it’d be better to have lights off during the night when humidity is naturally lower?

What’s your preference?

Maybe I’m over thinking.

When I'm growing autos I'm on 20/4 schedule. Usually 4pm to noon next day. Now I'm finishing a photo on 12/12 from 8:30pm to 8:30am

I run lights off during warmest part of day. This winter I'll probably go back to 24/7. Want to test my Autocobs. When I used mass built led lights, I always ran them 24/7.
