At the moment manual but researching equipment to make it automatic.

If my current trial of living soil does not satisfy and I go back to salt nutes, I will likely go with an automated top watering system. I do not like the way salt buildup seems to be such a pia with autovalves. I have come to the conclusion that sub-irrigation with salt nutes is not the best way to do the job.

Anyway, the fertigation information on Cocoforcannabis.com is good. The crew there has a good description of a diy setup that works well for not a lot of money. Design could be tweaked to your situation, but the principles are well described so you should be able to put something together that works well first time around.

On the cheap and hold a half gallon without touching the pot. This is a 3 gallon, but there’s larger as well. Pretty sturdy and I paid like $3.50 a piece.
