Hey all! I germinated a grape god seed in a moist paper towel and it sprouted a big fat white tail in about 18 hours. But then I planted it in a solo cup about 1/2 inch deep in some biobizz light 10 days ago and it just finally popped through the surface 2 days ago but the seed is still pretty firmly attached. Doesn’t look like it’s opened any more that when I pulled it out of the paper towel. I certainly can’t pull it off like might be the case with a dangly helmet. What do you think? Just give it a few more days? Will she open eventually? Or should I just plug another?

I would just spritz her with water a couple times a day to soften up the shell of the helmet & it’ll eventually falloff

Will do - thanks for quick response. Just curious, do you think 10 days seems like a really long time? Or maybe it’s just doing work under the soil (hopefully)?

I spray it pretty good about 3 times a day when the surface dries out. Too much? Too little?
