Seed size?

I think the most shocking thing to me as a new grower, was how tiny seeds have been when received. I have made 3 purchases of three different strains, from 2 different sellers.
My first thought was they are picking them too early, but then I dont really know if this is just a normal auto-flower seed trait. Odd that the freebie auto-flower seeds are what I consider normal sized seeds, yet they are 3 times bigger then the purchased seeds.
So what knowledge am I lacking here?

I was surprised a a couple of them myself but they grew out fine.

Same here even though I am new to this.My Green Crack seed was quite a bit bigger than my Blue Dream seed both FastBuds.The Blue Dream was/is really small to the point where I wasn't even sure it was a seed.But day 10 in my journal and she is taking off now.I would think it is strain dependent as well as shape,color and such.I also trip on how small a seed is and the final product.

Thinking back over all these years of buying beans from so many sources, so many strains, etc...it's not rare to see some seeds that are smaller or larger than those beside them....but I can't recall hanging a dud label on either...they all usually do as they were designed to do...get us blazed.
Just plant'em in the right conditions and let'er rip....
