if you can get at the filter to clean off roots as they grow into it, you ought to be fine with that. I love the micro design!

It will air prune at the bottom, if the screen tries to come off just glue another layer on there. The filter inside the cup may be your weak link I expect it will clog eventually.. I suppose if it did, you could replace the whole bottom with screens. Here's a pic of what my roots did so you see what I mean, they filled every available space in the cup.

Bean is soaking and soil prepared I will label cup proper after I drop bean and get it set up. I'm using Roots Original with a bit of GBD in bottom Good luck to all !
