Unfortunately I will be out of this little comp. my solo plant ended up having balls..... gah! A month of wasted nutes on three beautiful plants that were enormous and healthy. Best of luck to you all and I hope you have some fat producers!!

Here's my updates @bushmasterar15 @Ash-a-Ton. Mephisto Chem Bubbly and a free-bee White Widow from Seedsman. Both in Mephisto's GBD SuperSoil, and today both got a shot of ReCharge with SLF-100. Chem Bubbly is 17 days old and looking just fine:

The White Widow is 3 days older and continues to show this strange color. Her leaves come out bright yellow from the center and slightly mis-shapened. Slowly, over time, the yellow retreats slightly and some more normal green starts creeping in from the outside. Anybody know what this is?? I've never grown this strain before; but surely this can't be "normal"? Here she is today at 20 days:

Just for perspective on the growth pattern, here she was at day 8 and at day 16. WTF?

With all of that going on in a solo cup, it could be a plethora of things.. That soil mix is probably too hot for that seedling. I'd check the ppms of the run off.. A lot of Mephisto strains were bred in super soil, 24hrs of light in one gal pots so they may be a little more resilient to high feeds early in life. At this stage ppm run off should be in the low to mid hundreds.

Thanks Padawan. I checked out your "head scratch" post and found that helpful. Looking around, me thinks it might be a magnesium problem, but not positive. Anyway, I'm going to checkout the soil pH and maybe add a little Epsom salts or Dolomite lime. The thing is .... the cup has some worm casings and a proper mix of Mephisto SuperSoil in Roots Organics Original, same as the other solo cup which is doing great with the Chem Bubbly, so I really don't think the medium is the problem -- I suspect its more about something finicky with this particular strain. We'll see.

I had one with yellow centers starting on new leaf but never got the wrinkly leaf

We are on bi-weekly updates now. So the next mandatory update pics for the grow are February 10th-18th. But everyone loves seeing pics so keep doing what your doing. I'm having lots of fun watching how everyone progresses. Your plant choice that you'll be continuing on for the rest of the grow will be need to be picked by February 14th.
