Jiffy peat pellets are PH 5.3 which is too low for cannabis. be sure to water with PH 6.5 to raise it a little. Rapid Rooters etc would be better.

Week 1 Update:

Day 10 for Dinafem and Mega Bud, day 4 for Cannarado. The autos failed to germinate, so, one of these lucky ladies is destined to be the LIGHTING PLANT of the YEAR!!!

I had some early heat and shallow rooting issues, so the plants are going to have to rally to make it. I am going to try to grow them out though, more for the experience than anything,

Rough time with germination this round. Of my 10 seeds dropped on 18-Aug, 9 have failed. That's a new grow record for me ! Thanks goodness there was this 2-week germ kick-start period. Re-dropped 3 seeds shown on my last post (24-Aug). Re-dropped AutoSeeds Berry Ryder and Dinafem Gorilla on 26-Aug, then re-dropped Mephisto Fantasmo Express and Sweet Seeds Black Cream on 28-Aug. Then on 29-Aug another AutoSeeds Berry Ryder and a new, 1st-time S.A.D. from Sweet Seeds.

At this point I'm slowly getting my tents filled in. At the moment we're got two Dinafem Gorillas ( 10 days & 1 day), a Mephisto ManBearAlienPig (2 days) and Zamnesia Caramel & AK-420 (both 1 day).

I made the decision to put one of the plants in soil and place her outside, which takes her out of the contest, I just thought with the shallow roots, it would have a better chance if I covered the lower stem/root up with soil.

The second plant in the cabinet is an Autoseeds Purple Stilton. I will be choosing between this one and the 8 day old DP AutoBlackberry Kush.
