Question. Since I grow coco/hydro, do I need to switch to flowering ferts for males or just stick with my basic veg ferts and ride it out?
very good question! I mean it, and never really thought about ferts. I grow organic, water mostly, so few inputs. The males are flowering, but finish their pollen production far sooner than a female, so longevity isn’t a concern. From the time of gender expression to maturity is less than 2weeks.

Don't think I've really seen any hydro grows for males. Haven't found any info about it online. Guessing it doesn't really matter much, but curious if the pollen production is tied to flowering or growth, or if it matters at all
