No prob bud. This is what I do when setting up a new grow. Just like you said give yourself a week and set evvvvveeything up. Run your environment for a couple days and get you some baseline data point. You know just your temps and stuff during the day and during the night etc. get your medium all sorted and make sure the moisture and pH is all squared away. You know just give it a dry run for a couple days.im def goin to do this and pick your brain.. thinking of maybe waiting a week to get things in order! thank u once again
Even after the dome goes on, I check the weight of the pot to see if I need to water outside of the dome to keep the medium damp. Just pick up the bag before you add the water and get a feel for what that weighs. Then after you've dampened the promix, pick it up and feel the difference when its good and damp. Ya don't wan that medium drying out. I started going by less watering more often once watering gets going. I'll also use a spray bottle to spray the surface if that is all that's needed. Oh ya, I add a bit of perlite to that HP mix, 40% or so. That's my 2 cents on this
