Oh, you're faster in replying than myself!After the breeding wedding when male pollen struck the female flowers the initial work is done and as the result in good conditions is the seed. When the seed itself is maturing it is forming its natural structure like here:
But it is fresh and very moist and it wouldn't germ now. After a couple of weeks the seeds from the pollinated female plant can be removed, but they still need at least 2 - 3 months to mature and dry. Professional breeders have drying cabinets for several thousands of Euro to have control about that drying process and when the inner of the seeds reached around 35 % moisture it is pretty good to go.
So in general you can say after 3 months under controlled conditions the seeds can be used for a new generation.![]()
