You might want to think about switching from cfl to the led light bulbs you can get them everywhere. All u do is pry off the bulb part and screw them in to your light socket. They are much brighter than cfl and use half the wattage. There is good thread in the diy led forum . Off the shelf led bulbs you should check it out.

I was thinking about buying and using some of those. I have two of them in my bathroom (only 15W each) and indeed they are super freaking bright - they light up the whole bathroom in bright neon light. Also, they will not raise suspicion when I am buying them. Maybe I will build a new light setup for my next grow, using E27 LED bulbs.

Check it out. Led bulbs can grow some great buds 2 plants scrog 5 gallon smart pots I probably will harvest close to 8 zips out of a 30x30x84 space. Try the led bulbs you won't be disappointed

I just did a lot of reading on these screw-in off the shelf LED bulbs and on their application in growing Cannabis, and I am totally convinced that they are awesome. Will definitely be building myself a new light setup using E27 LED bulbs. Will have to source some cheap lights from China, though, because they are rather expensive where I live.
By the way, do you add/remove different color lights during veg/flowering or do you just keep both warm and cold color bulbs for a full spectrum setup during the whole grow?

I started out with 4 5000k and added more 5000k bulbs as they grew. once they started flowering I got some 2700k bulbs right now I have 12 2700k bulbs and 4 5000k for some mixed spectrum.

Today is exactly two months from soaking the seeds in water.
I did a final defoliation on the Tangelo Rapido, hoping to expose the bud sites to the light and to redirect all the nutes to them nugs.
After I removed the big fan leaves of the Tangelo, I noticed that there was one broken branch (caused by the LST) but that branch is now doing OK - it is semi-attached to the main stem and looks to be sucking water and nutes without any problems.

I took Tommy boy's advice and am now building a LED panel using off the shelf household LED bulbs.
Searched high and low for 2700K bulbs, but could not find any. So the bulbs that I bought are 10W each at 3000K. They cost me $1.58 US a piece. Got 15 pieces total.
I don't know if 3000K is going to be warm enough for flowering, but I figured that it is not too far away from 2700K...
What do you guys think? Did I make a mistake by buying these or are my 3000K bulbs still fine for flowering???

Awesome bro 3000k will be great for flowering. You can use that for the whole grow they might stretch a little. I think you will love that light just don't get it to close it will be alot more intense than cfl. I'm going to start a grow journal in a week so check it out . And post some pics of your light when it's done. Be careful getting those bulbs off your lights I stabed my finger pretty good taking mine off.

So far my modest grow journal has been mostly about the Tangelo Rapido and its problems. But let us not forget that I am growing a Sweet Seeds Sweet Skunk as well. Here are a few photos of the Sweet Skunk - it is FROSTY as a motherfucker, all triched out and I believe and hope that it will develop nice donkey dick style colas. Man, all this under shitty CFL... It was also stunted by the Jiffy pellet and lost about one month of its life cycle, fighting the Jiffy problem.
I can only imagine what this monster could have become with proper soil and under LED. But no worries, I am working on my homemade LED panel and soon both plants will be given some real light.

Nice. I always cut the fabric off jiffy peat plugs sometimes the roots can't get through
