I hear you man. I thought the same thing when I saw two pop up in mid flower, until really researching what those pollen sacks look like and how they form. Still wasn't 100% sure but watched them closely. I only relaxed when I saw them become full buds, like the others that formed more typically.

it's super small

Seems all OK to me, I'd leave them be. I had these pop up around the base of the buds on my last grow, nothing manly about them!
