Hunting and fishing is what I live for... Semi retired. Ice fishing is the best time.

We had snow here night before last n 12hrs later was slushy mess followed by 70/66F days! Tx weather swings all over! And here we have such bad problem with feral hogs that outside city limits u can show proof how bad infestation is there companies that come out in a helicopter to do a mass hunt from the air! Then the meat from it goes to charities!
 
We have whitetail deer, black bear, moose and elk for big game here.
We shoot coyotes only this time of year. hunting ends in Dec.
It’s open season on ‘yotes here. I think the only time we’re NOT supposed to shoot them is during bow season for white tail deer or something like that. I usually carry my .40 when I fish outside of city limits because those little boogers will get well within pistol range, Especially if they smell your catch and want catfish for lunch lol.
