But Yoda I see that power supply has a fixed 1000mA. I thought that 1000mA was to high and should be around 700mA ?

Should I use this power supply or use the 5VDC- 350mA

@sah I really can't speak in regards to that as it really is all above my head.... I actually used a 5v cell phone charger..hopefully someone that knows will pipe in soon... Found this amazon and sounds like it would fit the bill...

that one looks fine

i use 6V 500mA

one bit of advice S_A_H , dont use the wires braided up like that , for a nice clean , pure , well made solution you need to be cleaning the wires as you go , your going to have gunk buildup with braided silver

i use two 6 inch wires which both only protrude 4.5 inches into the water , and honestly thats more then enough

edit, in looking at your pic/wires again , i got a bit worried

are you confident in the source you used in getting it ? , as it appears to have a high consentration of copper , .9999 wont show copper colored discoloration , mine simply look dull , then a quick clean with scotch brite pad and boom shiny silver again

if im right and you use that wire/c.s you risk killing your plant instead of reversing it , ive "been there done that"

Hi Bob! I'm starting to get confused... So I'm 8 days into spraying and all is going exactly as it should according to pics I have seen. I have been reading that if the spray is discontinued the female flowers will return and some people self their plants this way. I don't want to do this, I want to collect pollen to make more fem seeds of this strain and also breed some others further on down the road. Do I have to keep spraying until I am done collecting pollen and won't the water from the spray kill the pollen anyways??? Thanks much!

spray up to as close to the day they release pollen , if you spray once they are releasing it you will kill the released pollen , an extra day wont hurt , they will keep releasing more

if given enough time they will start producing female flowers , but we are talking weeks later , you will have pollenated your girls or collected your pollen by then , and most plants , auto as well as photo will die before it went back to female anyway , it would take a very long flowering sativa to notice it

it is possible to see happen if a person stopped spraying early , but that would be their mistake as they most likely wouldnt see pollen and if they did it would be maybe enough to get a few scattered selfed seeds and nothing more

edit : yes they continue producing new male flowers after you stop spraying , new growth is male
