@Green Hornet My brother had a SS 454 when I was a kid - had it jacked way up in back with huge slicks, put a supercharger on it and a cam off a racing boat engine. He use to race it at the local drag strip. Damn thing would only start 1/10 times but when it did . . . .
He also used to pick me and my friends up for carpool when I was in the 4th grade. You could hear him coming a mile away - all the moms in their station wagons were terrified as he pulled in the parking lot with Robin Trower - Bridge of Sighs blasting on the 8 track.
My friends and I were ecstatic. Good times.
