Today is day 46. One of the girls has been growing like a weed, grew almost 10" in 6 days.
This pic is from May 2nd
This pic is from yesterday.
She was about 1" away from the lights. I had to make a move, so I ended up supercropping her and doing a little LST to her last night after the above picture. Here she is today...
She looks like she responded well to the abuse. She also has picked herself up quite well after being stunted at about day 10 from a calcium deficiency.
Here is the other girl. She only grew 5" in the same time the first girl grew 10" in 6 days. She is a bit ahead of the first one. Looking great!!
They both have the sativa Christmas tree shape going on, until I suppercropped the first one.
They are still on veg nutes. My last reservoir was at 480ppm and it was a tad to high as I have gotten some tip burn on the second plant. I'm probably going to give them a few more day on veg nutes before I switch to early flower as the first plant just started showing ppm poms a couple days ago.
I have to say, I am impressed with these Twenty20Mendocino genetics so far!
@Twenty20 Adam . i will be there for next G&S if allowed by gladiator restrictions.
the next Trizzler is a different Pheno than the first two. twice the number of leaves. the first two were 20 minute trims. this one will be 2 hours.
i better start soon! like right now! So i started trimming....................................................................here she is half trimmed. had to switch sissors half way through, gummed up so bad they stopped cutting. she is covered in more resin than the first two. back to trimming.
Trizzlers 1 stripped of her bigger leaves.. and chopped.. smallest buds were taken off and brown bagged.. day 62
Trizzlers 2 will run on at least another week. Should have gone with pots bigger than these 5Ls but I'm happy with the result here all things considered.. smells great.
Day 52 for my glue sniffer she's coasting along and she's very healthy also the snow g the girl with 2 plants in 1 pot is approaching week 4 so the stretch will be anytime now also big thanks to @Twenty20 Adam and @420Forever for running the show
The Trizzlers are finishing up nicely we are on day 72 now and thinking this might be their final week before getting the chop. I've put the last nutrient fill into the reservoir and if I need to add any else will just be plain water.
Update: Sorry for the delay everyone. I was out of town for near a week. Plant is cut. I totally messed up and deleted my final images before they transferred. I feel terrible. It really didn't look or change much at all in the last 7 days so I hope my previous update is a good look at the final state before the cut. As mentioned previously by @Twenty20 Adam - The smell does not arrive until very late and currently there is an incredibly strong skunky smell but a light touch reveals a wonderful lemon scent.
I arrived back home late last Friday night. I decided to chop then and there at the very start of Day 70. The plant looked done. I did take some images of the branches hanging to dry. I will update with a final weight. Also, I have already started a second seed to try and do a better round with this particular strain.
@Trichome farmer : If it's ok to continue to do so, I will post updates here again while others finish up as well?
Here are some final images:
Strain: Trizkits - Cut at day 70
Hanging to dry in dark tent with filter fan and circulating fan
Current environment: 63/65F 50/55%rh
I have found some extremely dense encrustations... kruos! Kruos (for the interested)
I am shocked to see this level of trichome density. I have seen pictures of this but did not think I could ever grow such a thing!
Wow. I am impressed with this strain. Especially with my hard work to treat it badly. I look forward to updating you all with a final dry weight in a few days and I have already dropped a new one! Also, in other news..... I will actually have final product reviews soon! My patient has arrived and I hope receives good care. Thank you all.
