Hello AFN......Now, not so long ago......I heard of a nutrient company called Dakine 420 from Redmond, Oregon, USA and decided to look them up......On their website, was/is a wealth of information on their product, which is granular nutrients!....they have a live chat, which I used and got chatting to a young man called Adam, who I asked, if they would like me to do a journal on their nutes?.....It was put by their CEO...Kelly Martin(cool dude!)who kindly approved it and here we are lol.....anyone who has known my journals previously, knows I am always changing nutes.....but this time, it's from the bottle to the pot.....Here is a link to Dakine..

...So that is how I got to here......now I have to confess that I have been using Dakine for a couple of weeks now already, because their watering is a little bit different than what I am used to......as Dakine recommend a WEEKLY flush and that you dissolve the nutes in different containers before finally mixing together....so it's just a small change but I still needed to change routine......I have printed my nutes schedule from Dakine's website, which has a handy dandy nutes calculator, with a litre/gallon setting for imperial and metric.
.....Jumping back to just after I spoke with Adam(another cool dude!) I received a package from Dakine...much quicker than I expected tbh and this is what was inside....

2)BudBox pro 75x75x200cm
3)Root nurse 8 litre fabric pots
4)Ecothrive premixed coco/perlite mix
.....and of course Dakine 420 nutes. The subject of this journal will be a Dinafem Bubba Kush Auto but I will be posting pics of all the plants grown with Dakine too, which are...The BK, 2x SeedStockers Northern Lights Auto and 1x SeedStockers CBD 1:1 Silver Lime Haze Auto.

....I am following Dakines instructions down to the letter, with separate mixings and weekly flushes and I am also weighing the nutes too,

:smoker:Flushing every week sounds like a weekly reservoir change. I think this is more like what the original idea behind coco use was - a media that can keep fresh nutrients on those roots at all times. I think it will do well.
