so I have to have more led's in my lighting array for an equivalent level of light.

its good economics, and in my case my cobs are dirt cheap 10 euro a pop if I remember correctly and the light output is pretty damn good.
Efficiency is a fair goal when growing, if I can get down to less to 1 euro a gram I am a happy bunny. :smoking:

What do you count to 1 euro?

I add everything that has cost me any money:smoking: , if i upgrade or add new kit I add it on to the current grow. i add, nutes, soil mix, electricity

This current grow I have nutes left over, so I dont add them, the tent, lights, pots etc are already paid for by earlier grows, so the only costs are the new larger carbon filter, seeds, soil mix and electricity.

Costs:
4 seeds 20 eur
2x 40l soil 12 eur
6x 10l coco 6 eur
2x 10l perlite 12 eur
new filter 45 eur
electrity@ ?? ???????

with electricity prices going through the roof this year, I have no chance of been down at the 1 euro mark this grow.. if I am under 2 euro I will be happy. gotta run with the times I guess, of course if I get a mega bumper crop ..... but it would have to be 350gms+ for that....... we can live in hope

Hi,

terrible news. My control unit has frozen again. Few hours there was 45celsius (113f) and humidity 100%.

So i unmouted it.

Light is now driven by programamble plug device - simple and it is easy to change settings.

I fastly made really simple gadget. It has only sht31 module that measures temperature and humidity, arduino counts VPD. And by VPD and temperature it drives fan. It also has two leds, blue lights when fan works and red blinks cca each 2 seconds - to easily see that it works. A use here arduino nano every - older one used chinese clone of nano.

I think it didnt work as expected, maybe it has frozen sometimes I even didnt notice and it could cause yellow leaves. New and much better version will be made because I newer give up!

Great news is that plant survived! It looks pretty much similar it only stopped grow for cca 24hours. Excellent genetics It can survive event my bad care!! @Fast Buds Heather it is really true that this strain is very easy to grow and can forgive a lot of mistakes, good job!

Hi,

day 35 update. As I mentioned yesterday, plant recovered well, she grows very fast now. Not a lot of space remaining, hope she is going to stop soon . Ph finaly dropped - it happens every time she wants to bloom. Now it is 5.4-5.5. I wait until it stops stretching and than I will switch to flores nutes.

I cut off few down branches that couldnt get up to canopy.

Some leaves from bellow are used by flower and dropped of.

New control gadget works so far good.

I want to see how will my perfect pH capsule work, first time recharged few days ago. So far it holds pH in range 5.2 - 6.2 But fluctuations are significant.

I would definitely need larger grow space, at least 3*3, better 4*4, she doesnt have any space, so she grows up.

And last idea, I had to top it as you told me, next time i will do it.

Usually about 3 weeks...

you might look into "Super cropping" to control upward growth and to help gain a flatter canopy.

it still looks like your lamp is too close or too powerfull or that you have too high temps. https://www.growweedeasy.com/cannabis-plant-problems/heat-light-stress

other than the heat stress/high photon count the plant looks healthy.

defoliating will help with cooling and airflow, now is a good time to do it, it will also slow down the stretch somewhat (at least it seems to do so imhe)
