I suggest 5 or 7 gallon pots.
Simple fabric bags are among the best options. For ex., I'm using "7 gallon" tall profile (same diameter, , <12 inches, as most 5 gallon pots/bags) vegatable grow bags, with the added bonus of a flap you can open to check roots, dampness, etc. See https://www.temu.com/goods.html?_bg_fs=1&goods_id=601099573658207 for good deals on 5, 7 and 10 gallon bags, with the black ones costing more. These are actually rather well made, thick, the velcro seal very strong, etc.

3 or 5 gallon work just fine. I use 3 gallon rains science pots they are great.

I would say one 3 gallon or you could do two 1.5 gallon I grow in both sizes
With only having a small light vipar xs1500 I was thinking 1 and lst it to death lol
