I run autos on 24/0 but had some strains that did terrible without the dark period. I also have grown under 12/12 to grow some photo-sensitive strains together with autos and they did grow but did not produce quite a much as they should have.
I have read all the posts in this thread because i am trying to hone my auto knowledge before i atempt my first auto grow, and i have to say that it sounds like this issue is one of those personal opinion areas. and also strain must play a role?
I can only speak from my photo experience that some strains get "tired" or droopy looking toward the end of the light cycle, do they actually get tired?
I'm not being a weenie, just confused.. does 24/0 = no lights out?
If so then when does the plant have time to regenerate?
My first auto grow should be very interesting for me, because i am used to photo growing for 30 years oh the learning curve i face lol
Thank you all for you opinions, i will probably try something like 18/6 for my first couple till i stop killing them and get it right.
Im so glad everyone here is cool, i wont flame the board i was on before..but man where they ever arrogant assholes!
