Any idea what could have caused this. I thought there might be mites so I prayed them with vinegar and water solution then the next day the spots appeared on both plants but only one leaf.

Yellow spots on leaves?

Did you look under the leaf to see if anything was there?
Sometimes these yellow spots appear and it's a nutrition thing. Maybe low magnesium and calcium.
I didn't see anything under the leaves at all so probably
