They have pruned up but since i top feed to 20% run off it kind of keeps those roots wet but the are not growing out like in the older pics.

I think your doing a blinding job bro so well done also I grow in a coco clay pebble mix and I top feed mine all the time but I've never tried the bottom fed way

I cut the weak bottom branches off, i could not stop thinking about it lol

and while i was there i top fed her again, starting x2 a day feedings now

I am ready for a solo cup grow off now @St. Tom

The reason i started off all screwy on different methods was i didn't know the rules on keeping the roots inside the cup, once i learned that i swapped styles and i think i have it figured out now. Top feed until roots are no longer of danger of coming out and bottom, then you can bottom feed it 6 days a week and on the 7th day top water flush her salts from mega crop down the cup.

When do you think the next solo cup grow off will be?
I have my RO system now so the only mistakes made in the grow should be user error now, no more blaming water.

Day 28

Went into a new home where 24 hour light will be supplied from here on out, since she is pregnant with red poison's pollen i will let her grow and mature in this trashcan i just put together.

and the par tests sansi 36w with a fan blowing right on it so it will never melt itself like i seen in the amazon pictures review

on its main cola 720 PAR

little below where a branch would be, drops off quick

another cola reading, little further out 650 PAR

Behind the main cola 500 PAR

i added some aluminum foil to the sides for help reflect light, that and going from 12/12 to 24/7 i hope she is happy!!

Thank you! It would of been better but so many plans changed. i now have a home for all solo cup grows in the future and i also know the rules for future solo cup grows now as i didn't know about the roots must stay in the cup, plans for DWC solo cup changed haha


I was having thoughts about the solo cup falling over when i'm not looking so i found a way to solve that issue!

This way my plant is secure and while the plant was out i drilled holes in the top lip so i can tie down the branches to keep them even.
