Pray enlighten me on your choice of 1 1/2 gal pots and why you chose this size ?? I have my own thoughts as to why you chose this size but I would much prefer to hear your reasoning Cheers .

I like to grow as many strains as possible in my space so we have variety. And I do not grow in the summer due to heat issues.. but that is changing

Makes sense to me . I had the same thought but decided would sooner have 10 plants to contend with instead of 40 .

Same reason i grow in 1.5 gallon pots. And i also grow in smaller pots to keep size down. @9bear

40 would be insane but at one point I had 18.. was a lot of work hand watering and defoliating them and checking them.. down to 8 now

My next grow I will be doing some testing. I am going to grow two of the same strain and 3 different strains. One of each strain will be completely defoliated when the plants show sex (every leaf) and the other left alone.. then the same plants will be completely deflated again 30 days later. I want to see if this produces bigger buds. I have read a few reports on this practice and I am going to test it on autos... you never know if you don’t try.
