Amber trichs are usually THC dying off into CBN, not CBD.... Otherwise if we ask ran our plants until full amber we would all have high cbd strains! Lol but the more amber the better in your case because you are looking for all the cannabinoids to be present at their peak amounts. Specially if your making oils and tinctures and stuff..... Hope this helps some....
