If you use a usb digital microscope do you turn the light on it all the way up? I think I read somewhere about the led light making trichomes look different. I do not know if it was making clear look cloudy or cloudy look clear or what. What do you do on there?

I suggest simply turn the light intensity up to whatever works best for you. If concerned that the "trichomes [will] look different," then compare or adjust your image vs. regular optical viewing (such as hand-held 30x-60x magnifier/microscope) using sunlight or a good 'white' light source.

I used Lumii for that particular shot but my preference has been Adobe Lightroom. Really nice for quick edits, I'm considering the subscription just because of how many photos I take.

i only use a handheld 
and i dont take pics with it,it has lil leds.
one thing i have noticed is...........if i trich check in the cupboard i see more ambers,than if i take the plant out of the cupboard.but thats more the fault of the leds on my grow light ? no.

I'd generally put more trust in the handheld unit with its own light being better for viewing, a whiter or more natural/sun-like light, vs. light from grow lights. The very best would be to view it with your magnifier/microscope outdoors, in bright sunlight.i only use a handheld View attachment 1209472 and i dont take pics with it,it has lil leds.

Otherwise, for myself, I'd harvest when trichomes are nearly all cloudy, and ignore brown ones being there or not; unless there are 10%-15% brown, at which I'd harvest (since don't want more than that). But when harvesting is done is a matter of personal taste/preferences.
