Hi,

thanks for the reply. I was hoping to get away without using a chiller. it's just not in the budget right now. I am using hydroguard and I am changing water weekly. it's the Northeast summer that's making it tough. Will rockwool really fix this?

I went to a precision drip irrigation system. Air is drawn into the rock wool providing all the oxygen the roots need. I use 6" Hugo blocks.

that looks awesome! I hope I get through this heat with hydroguard and water changes until I can get a chiller or decide to switch up systems.

I tried DWC ONCE ~for about 2 weeks! I remember I had to float frozen water bottles in it to keep the water temp down.

I ended up going with (and staying with) coco and AutoPots, which in essence, is "hydro".
