The problem I'm having is the two gallon pots are too big for the small space I have. I'm going to have to get some medium size pots.. how do you feel about terracotta pots? Personally I rather have plastic.

I have no idea about the terra cotta? They work outside. Any solid color plastic container should work with holes in it. Smaller just mean watering more often.

They might... I'll tell you what I got going on and see what ya think. My growing space is 17"deep 48"wide and about 34" tall, the problem I have is I got way ahead of myself I got a feeling.... I was planning on being able to tell males before they got to his point.. I got about a dozen going... I'm way in over my head....:smoking: I'm stressing bad now Cuz someone said I needed to transplant. I have looked at Walmart but it seems they don't have any cheap plastic pots... terracotta seems to be cheaper.. but I was thinking of making my own air pots out of 2 gallon flower pots.. I think deeper pots will work best, milk jugs? You would have to block the soil from the lights. See if u can get 1 gal nursery pots

Okay so deeper would be better then bigger diameter. I'll see what I can find at the store. Thanks. One of the plants one of the leaves and turning yellow. But it didn't start at the tip of the leaf. Can I change that from happening again?

I transplanted them today and as you said the roots were starting to get root bound. I found some cheap black plastic pots at the local hardware for under a buck each! They are 1 gallon and 2 gallon. I also mixed up some grow big and cal-mag with the root drench I have already been using. To try to make them happier. These pictures are prior to transplant, is there anything I can do to prevent that white looking mold on the top of the soil? I have removed the top layer a coupleasure times has come back, but it's only a couple plants that are doing it not all. Thanks bro.

Hydrogen Peroxide
This common product found in drug stores and supermarkets, at 3% concentration, is a natural treatment for algae, gray mold, Pythium and powdery mildew. Using hydrogen peroxide on your marijuana plants will not bring them harm. Peroxide helps aerate the soil by adding oxygen and is both anti-fungal and anti-bacterial. Cannabis plants can be fed a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and water as a fertilizer and disease deterrent, resulting in healthy plants. It can be misted on the leaves and/or applied directly to the soil. An easy way to apply is to fill a clean fertilizer spray bottle that attaches to a garden hose and feed as you would, say Miracle Gro. The bottle will have gallon markings on it. Fill the bottle with peroxide. When you turn on the hose, it will automatically dilute. If feeding sick plants, add one cup 3% hydrogen peroxide per gallon of water. Pour into a spray bottle and spritz the leaves, making sure to cover completely. For general feeding, add one half cup to a gallon of water.

Hydrogen peroxide can also be added to the water in hydroponic environments. It can be used to sprout seeds by adding it to the water they soak in before planting; they will sprout quicker and grow stronger. Follow the general application recipe for the peroxide to water ratio if using to soak seeds.
